Yippee!

A few weeks ago, 28DL (www.28dayslater.co.uk) shut down. This was the biggest urban exploration website and I could read the archives for hours and hours. Felt a bit lost when it closed but rumour has it that it is coming back. Nobody seems to know what the new format is going to be, whether it will be invite only or what, it would appear that its just going to be a case of wait and see!

Lately I’ve been trying to get out and enjoy the sunshine whilst its still here. Brimham Rocks on Sunday, it totally pissed down but I got some good shots.

Tuesday I had a baby portrait, he was a nice happy baby thankfully, it was stupidly hot but I got a good set which still need editing in time for Monday! After this I went for a bit of a jaunt out round Durham to capture the beautiful late afternoon light.

I ended up at Finchale Priory sat by the river taking in the views and enjoying the peace and quiet of such a tranquil location. Saw on the news the day after that a dead body had been found in that exact place, but on the Monday. Quite shocking really considering there was not a sniff of police presence to suggest something so gruesome had taken place less than 24 hours ago. Odd.

So, my good friend Brendada advised I should get a blog, it would help with my website hits. So here we go. I haven’t got a ton of stuff to write about today… Had a stressful day really, child portrait shoot booked in for 5pm, I lose my hot shoe adaptor. Cue lots of frantic running around all of the photography shops in Middlesbrough. No luck. Eventually got one from Sunderland with about twenty minutes to spare. Thank god! Cancelling was not an option so lots of thanks to Mr Mykal Cooper for being my hot-shoe-adaptor-hunter-bitch. Much appreciated
